Kentucky Kingdom is an amusement park in Louisville, Kentucky. The 63-acre park includes a collection of amusement rides and a water park named Hurricane Bay.

There are several new attractions at the park. Some of the new rides include “Scream Extreme” and the “Rock ‘n’ Roller.”

Also new this year, the beer garden will now serve 15 types of bourbon and 15 craft beers.

“June and July we’re a lot more busy so this was a nice soft opening it gave all of our team members a chance to really get in gear for the season,” Guest Services member Jamie O’Daniel said.

The classic Thunder Run wooden coaster has undergone extensive re-tracking and now delivers a faster and smoother ride experience.
