The Shelby County Farmers’ Market – located in beautiful, historic Shelbyville, Kentucky – had its beginnings in the spring of 2001 with only a few farmers. Over the years, the Shelby County Farmers’ Market has strived to bring fresh produce and interesting handmade goods to our customers. With commitment and persistence, our consumer base has grown in leaps and bounds. Fast forward to today, we now have more than 30 farmers and artisans from Shelby County and neighboring counties, each offering a specialized variety of goods to satisfy all of our customers. We invite you to pay us a visit! Our market opened on April 27 and will remain open through October 2013. The Shelby County Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the Coots Barn, located within the Shelby County Fairgrounds on Midland Trail in Shelbyville, Kentucky.
